Inchyra

Caroline Inchyra is known for printed linens and wallcoverings that bring a relaxed feel to traditional interiors, in a palette that runs from deep reds and ochres to soft greens, pinks and aged blues. Every design begins with an antique document from her archive - sometimes reproduced faithfully, sometimes reworked to give it the Inchyra look.

A specialist finish, developed over several years, knocks the dye into the weave and softens the handle, so new linen has the character of the antique pieces that first inspired it. Florals, checks and stripes are designed to sit happily together, with braids and gimps woven to match.

Everything is run from Inchyra House, where the studio, archive and cutting room sit under one roof. Inchyra is available through showrooms in the UK, US, Australia and New Zealand.
