Peter and Rebecca Thwaites founded Rapture & Wright more than twenty years ago in a leaky barn, asking how a fabric and wallpaper company might put the maker at the forefront of everything it does. They chose to invest in creativity, craftsmanship and long-term responsibility rather than short-term trends and offshoring.

Every fabric and wallpaper is designed and hand screen-printed at their ground-breaking print works in the Cotswolds, made to the highest environmental standards. Designs can be printed in custom or bespoke colours, and studio tours give designers a chance to see the 20-metre print tables at work.

Their awards include Homes & Gardens' Sustainability Award and Best Rural Creative Business, and they were named among the best British-made design brands by The Times in 2025. Their newest design is Mimosa, a hand-printed wallpaper.
