Nile & York

Nile & York is a family business run by Simon Greenland with his children, Amy and Ed. Simon founded it in the 1990s to produce classic, timeless designs, coloured to sit happily alongside a wide range of other fabrics.

It all began with a silk lining Simon printed for the interior designer Jane Churchill. Its success led to the Small Prints - now regarded as a classic, with 81 fabrics across nine small designs - joined since by the Small Linen Prints, 39 fabrics in five of Simon's own designs woven and printed in England, and the more illustrative Archive Prints.

Every range is also available as a digitally printed wide-width wallpaper, and lampshades can be made to order in any of their fabrics or wallpapers. Nile & York has always been committed to the British textile industry: all the fabrics are, and always have been, made in the UK.
