Bold colour, expressive pattern and a sense of play - hand-drawn wallpapers and fabrics from an award-winning London design house.

Ottoline de Vries began her career as a lawyer in Amsterdam, spending her free time restoring and personalising antiques. Unable to find patterns that matched her vision, she started designing her own - and after being shortlisted for the Rijksstudio Award at the Rijksmuseum, she leapt into design full time.

Moving to London, she launched her debut wallpaper collection, named Best Wallpaper Collection by Homes & Gardens in 2015, and founded her namesake studio. Her hand-drawn designs draw on nature, history and art, balancing bold colour and unexpected elements in a way that is unmistakably her own.

Her fabrics are woven and printed in England on natural materials, and her wallpapers are made with trusted partners in England and the Netherlands. Ottoline joined LineUp in June 2026.
