Virginia White

Expressive fabrics, wallpapers and furniture from one of the UK's leading interior designers - all made in Britain.

Virginia White is one of the UK's leading interior designers, named in House & Garden's Top 100 for many years. She studied History of Art at St Andrews and worked at Sotheby's, the Guggenheim in Venice and the Venice Biennale, before studying interior design at Chelsea College of Art and training with John Stefanidis. Her design practice and the Collection continue side by side, each informing the other.

Her furniture grew from pieces designed for her own schemes. When she exhibited it in 2013, she commissioned the artist and potter Rose de Borman to paint a wild forest scene as a backdrop - and that painting became Forest, her first fabric and the starting point for a growing range of fabrics and wallpapers.

Inspired by art, travel and the natural world, the Collection brings together Virginia's own designs and collaborations with artists, and every printed and woven fabric, wallpaper and piece of furniture is made in Britain.
